EveryDay Intervention was founded in 2015 as a mail-only attendance intervention to reduce chronic absenteeism. In March 2020, prompted by the Covid pandemic, we added text messages and our 24/7 Family Support Bot to quickly connect families to district resources and help them overcome barriers to attendance.

Educators are busier than ever, and EveryDay Intervention is the only attendance solution that effectively reduces educator lift in addressing absenteeism. Using attendance data as an early warning indicator to identify which students are at risk of becoming offtrack, our system automatically sends their families personalized attendance nudges via mail and text, available in dozens of languages.
EveryDay Intervention is based on original research conducted by Dr. Todd Rogers, our co-founder and Chief Scientist, on how to effectively improve attendance outcomes. We seamlessly integrate with a district's Student Information System (SIS) to monitor attendance data, and when students miss more than 5% of days, we begin to send their families personalized communication, or "nudges," via text and mail.
Our successful outreach and messaging, delivered in a family’s home language, is strategically timed and personalized with meaningful information and resources to help them overcome barriers to attendance. Families can access our on-demand Family Support Bot or multilingual Family Support Team for one-on-one help and connections to vital district and community resources, including food distribution, wellness services, and more.
Our research-proven family engagement and communications ensure that students not only return to school, but they keep coming back, creating the foundation for healthy, long-term attendance patterns. With multiple randomized controlled trials backing its effectiveness, EveryDay Intervention is the only PreK-12 attendance intervention with the coveted "Strong Evidence" rating from Evidence for ESSA out of the Center for Research and Reform in Education (CRRE) at Johns Hopkins University School of Education. It is also the only attendance intervention proven to reduce chronic absenteeism by 10-15% districtwide. To date, we have helped prevent over 1 million absences across 30 districts.
