Marc-Oliver Link is the CEO of the flowhub Software GmbH in Koblenz and the Link4Media UG in Urbar.
With more than 30 years of experience in software development and the implementation of innovative technologies, he has profound and comprehensive knowledge in the areas of software development, web design and online marketing.
He is a sought-after expert for the successful implementation of innovative software development projects in the healthcare and media industries. Especially in the health care sector, he has successfully completed many national and international software projects (USA, Malaysia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Austria, France, Italy, Poland, and many more).
Marc-Oliver studied Computer Science (focusing on Software Engineering) at the University of Applied Sciences in Bingen (Germany) and also graduated with a "Black-Belt for Leadership" from the Malik Management Centrum in St. Gallen (Switzerland). Marc-Oliver Link has also received several national and international awards for his various innovative software projects. Together with flowhub Software GmbH, Marc-Oliver Link develops a platform for the optimization, automation and digitalization of processes and workflows. Furthermore, this platform is designed to interconnect different stackholders/participants and to guarantee a secure data exchange. In particular, the products of flowhub find their application in the various cross-sector areas of the healthcare market.
Project 1 - Oncological patient data for research purposes
Marc-Oliver Link has successfully implemented a technology and digitization project with flowhub, focused on accelerating cancer research and improving patient care. The flowhub platform enables cancer researchers as well as healthcare institutions to learn from the experience of each individual patient. The platform required for this in Germany (especially in the field of oncology) for the acquisition and provision of the necessary data was developed by flowhub. The healthcare industry has enormous hopes for the targeted analysis of patient data. A corresponding Big Data analysis should enable better cancer therapies in the future. This project was carried out in compliance with all German and European data protection regulations.
Project 2 - Digital prescription and supply processes in the healthcare sector
In this project, Marc-Oliver Link and flowhub have also significantly advanced digitalization in the healthcare sector for various participants (e.g. clinics, pharmacies, doctors, etc.). Especially the intersectoral communication took place manually and in paper form. Therefore, these processes, e.g. the supply of patients with medical aids and care products, were very complex and time-consuming. Another problem are the different system landscapes of the different participants, which are not compatible with each other. flowhub enables each stackholder/participant to define, optimize and automate its own workflows and processes. Furthermore, flowhub brings together all the required data for a process and puts it into context, regardless of where they are stored. In addition, flowhub enables the connection and data transfer/exchange to all participants within the healthcare sector. This seamless connectivity enables all stakeholders to collaborate effectively and efficiently.
