The year 2020 was a year of survival. For Phoenix, an independent oil company that has diversified to include related and complementary businesses to its portfolio, growing and nurturing the network of partners it built over its 19 years in the industry, has been a key for the company’s continued success.

Hence, for the third time, the company held its annual Phoenix National Convention that gathers the business partners, dealers, franchisees, and distributors of Phoenix and its subsidiaries nationwide in a two-day convention.

However, due to the limitations of COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the company conducted the convention in a more innovative manner, held, for the first time, through an all-digital live streaming platform.

Taking into account the influx of webinars that employees and partners have attended over the course of the pandemic, the Phoenix Digital National Convention aimed to do something different. It set to achieve the following:

-Total of 2,000 attendees or unique log-ins from Phoenix partners nationwide
-Php 3 million worth of sponsorship solicited
-Total of 30 partner-brands for the convention
-A 90% customers satisfaction score
-A 30% net promoter score

With the theme “WINNOVATION: Partner, Kayang-kaya basta’t sama-sama!” (WINNOVATION: Partner, together, we can accomplish anything!), the Phoenix Digital National Convention focused on the company’s drive towards innovation and collaboration, and about moving together in the same direction.

During the two-day digital convention, partners converge to learn, network, and align strategic directions in an entertaining way. The event was held on January 14- 15, 2021 to culminate the most challenging year in the history of the company and usher the new year with a fresh and motivated mindset.

The event features activities including the following:

-Unique Login Credentials for each attendees
-A 360-degree expo exhibit hall showcasing partner booths that could be visited anytime by the attendees
-Live-streamed breakout sessions for each Phoenix brand that provided insightful talks from Phoenix leaders
-Digital conference for innovation and business reinvention headlined by distinguished resource speakers who are industry and business experts
-A virtual photo booth where the attendees can take photos using various templates
-A microsite of the convention presenter where attendees can visit and be assisted via chat for r questions about the business
-Various mini-games, raffles, giveaways, and entertaining micro-segments such as e-racing and dealer singing and cooking showdown
-A recognition event called PhoeniXFactor Night that awards the company’s top performing business partners of the year
-Entertainment through performances by renowned artists in the Philippines
-Distribution of videocon kits and grazing box delivered to each attendee for a full convention experience
-Swab test and personal protective equipment for all onsite committee, hosts, performers, and production team

Through this, Phoenix Digital National Convention achieved a total of 2,234 unique log-ins for the two-day event.

The event also received Php 3.746 million of sponsorships from a total of 47 companies. Potential partnership sign-ups for the event presenter reached 82 interested individuals.

The convention also garnered a 91% customer satisfaction score that means the majority are satisfied with the event.

The net promoter score is also high, which is at 45% and is in the “great” benchmark bracket. This is an indication that the majority are happy and will strongly recommend the event.
