Case study: CMS Secures Medical Data and Facilitates Partner Compliance
In one use case, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) enlisted PKWARE to secure its sensitive data, to protect against the growing number of security breaches. PKWARE was the only solution that could deliver persistent data-level protection while providing support for all of the platforms used by the agency’s internal departments and external partners. CMS installed PKWARE’s solution on devices for more than 6,000 employees, in addition to implementing data exchange protection for mor than 250 partner organizations, meeting compliance needs across the board.
Case study: Global Corporation Secures Data and Meets PCI Compliance Goals
Another use case involves a global corporation that had just completed an acquisition and was preparing for a PCI DSS audit. They found the acquired company had an issue with storing unencrypted credit card numbers in spreadsheets, documents, and other areas.
