    ÜNLÜ Youtube channel(which were on air since 2016 for company announcements etc.) is transformed into a digital sharing and learning channel “Ünlü the Club” in 2020, offering weekly, monthly and periodic content. Suggestions on Turkish markets and investment instruments are presented with the Weekly Market Agenda every Monday and the Monthly Investment Advice series every month. With Finance from AtoZ series, developing financial literacy of the community is targeted and in-depth expertise is offered on current finance and economy issues with webinars.

    “Entrepreneurship Stories" section, which added in 2021 offers stories of women entrepreneurs graduated from ÜNLÜ&Co 's Women Entrepreneurs Academy, thus aiming to support and encourage female entrepreneur candidates in Turkey.

    In Turkey, similar initiatives are taken by many financial institutions but many of them are not carried out after a certain period of time. ÜNLÜ the Club differs from its counterparts in the country with its continuity and uninterrupted content.

    Weekly Market Agenda videos at ÜNLÜ The Club started as a pilot study on July 2019, and have been broadcasted every week without interruption since then. Monthly Investment Recommendations started as a pilot study in October 2019 and have been maintained every month since the same date.

    Involvement of ÜNLÜ&Co Subject Matter Expert Staff:

    ÜNLÜ the Club videos are prepared entirely by ÜNLÜ&Co employees, from content design to production. The videos feature the experienced experts of ÜNLÜ&Co as subject matter experts. ÜNLÜ the Club stands out with using internal resources.

    Social Impact and Preference:

    ÜNLÜ the Club contents have received more than 5.7 million views so far. The channel has 5.5K subscribers. Although these numbers do not seem high for a Youtube channel, the significance becomes apparent when compared to their counterparts in Turkey. In terms of views, ÜNLÜ the Club has reached a much higher number of views in a short time than the Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance channel, which has close to 2 million views, the Central Bank with a total of 835K views, and Exchange Istanbul with 50K views.

    Turkey ranks at the bottom of the world in terms of financial literacy. In the financial literacy level determined by the research of Standard & Poor's (S&P), Turkey ranked 120th in the survey conducted with 150 thousand people in 144 countries. According to more comprehensive studies conducted over the years in Turkey, the financial literacy rate is around 50%. The most prominent finding of the 2021 research is the financial literacy rate of people who make investment transactions. Knowledge level about investment is 61%, the level of knowledge about basic finance is 63%, and the rate of following the finance agenda is 71%. This shows that more than one third of the investors in Turkey do not have enough knowledge to make informed investments.

    Based on this need, ÜNLÜ&Co launched “ÜNLÜ The Club” Youtube channel to provide resources to people who need information while making investment decisions.
