Viettel Post JSC is a member company of Viettel Group, established on July 1, 1997, formerly known as Press Release Center, with the original mission as serving military agencies in the Ministry of Defense. In 2007, the growth rate was 73 times higher than in 2000, creating jobs for over 1.000 employees. In 2009, Viettel Post successfully conducted the IPO in the quiet stock market situation. In 2015, Viettel Post’s network expanded to all provinces and cities nationwide. In 2018, total revenue reached 218 million USD, 3 times higher than 2016 data. In 2020, during the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, Viettel Post proud to protect all employees’ health, job and salary from Covid-19. Achieving this, Viettel Post has actively developed business and production scenarios suitable the new situation; while strictly apply pandemic prevention and control measures. On July 6, 2020, Viettel Post received a certificate from the Ministry of Information and Communications for its outstanding achievements in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2021, the amount of positive news increased by 5% compared to 2020, ranked first in the number of discussions in the digital environment compared to competitors in the same industry (reaching 50.6%). Recording activities of providing essential goods in isolated provinces and cities during the Covid pandemic, programs to support the disadvantaged, disadvantaged, homeless and unemployed; image of a responsible military enterprise, ready to operate in epidemic areas to realize the dual goals of fighting the pandemic and developing socio-economics; Business activities are also regularly updated.
