We have persisted in our goal to get essential oils into every home, and with millions of customers in more than 140 countries across the globe, the numbers show that we’re closer than ever to achieving it. Since 2020, we have been ranked by Direct Selling News in the top 10 of their Global 100 List for achieving a record-breaking revenue at $2.2 billion. Despite the business climate, we were able to launch 28 new products between our 2020 and 2021 convention and win 16 awards between various categories such as best company, sustainability, product, COVID-19 Response, events, and campaign awards. In addition to growth achievements, we have been recognized as a leader in sustainability efforts for countless environmental projects and initiatives including a certification of a 94% landfill diversion rate at our distribution center, a waste recycling program at our global headquarters, and a redesigned zero-waste water conservation system at our Young Living Lavender Farm in Mona, Utah. Over the last year, we've undergone an incredible digital transformation. The launch of our new e-commerce platform has revolutionized the way our customers shop and learn about products. As the pioneer of the essential oils movement, Young Living sets the stage in the industry and continues to set goals that are greater than the year before. With locations on six continents, our global presence is undisputed. Each year we continue to build our portfolio of health and wellness products that are unrivaled in the industry. Green initiatives have always been a top priority and our past accomplishments are only the beginning. Our recycling program has already resulted in over 19,000 pounds of material saved from landfill and 3.61 metric tons of CO2 conserved, and our zero-waste water system saves 260 million gallons of water per year. On top of water conservation, we have implemented zero-till farm techniques that eliminate the need for fossil fuels to power mechanical equipment. In 2020, Young Living co-founded the Utah Sustainable Business Coalition to help educate other businesses on best practices to become greener within the organization. Our updated shopping platform is unique to the direct selling industry, and Young Living has identified an innovative way to keep the balance between a traditional business model and incorporating a direct-to-consumer option. I have also included the most recent media coverage for Young Living’s extensive environmental efforts. Since our digital transformation took place slowly over the last couple years, there was no formal announcement of new feature launches and branding. I have provided screenshots of our ecommerce platform from a customer’s view, pointing out new tools that are available for customers. Additionally, each year Young Living provides employees and customers with a yearly achievement recap infographic. This communication outlines everything from market and customer growth, fun product sales facts, philanthropic impact numbers, and more! It is a fun way to see all that we have done throughout the year in one visual.
