In the Inaugural Middle East Stevie Awards, DMCC won two 2020 Gold Stevie Awards for their “Future of Trade” publication and integrated thought-leadership campaign.
Facing growing competition both locally and internationally, DMCC’s campaign sought to educate on the future of global trade, cement DMCC’s authority on trade, attract 100 new companies to the DMCC, and increase the brand reputations for Dubai and the DMCC.
Centering the thought-leadership campaign was the 127-page ‘Future of Trade’ report, with quantitative research by The Centre for Economics and Business Research, qualitative insights from IBM and Asia House, and the collective thinking of 250 global industry leaders, academics and experts. The publication was promoted via digital, hard copy, events, media and speaking opportunities around the world.
DMCC’s Future of Trade integrated thought-leadership campaign exceeded its goals, attracting 165 new businesses to the free-zone, and increasing DMCC’s contribution to Dubai’s GDP by two percentage points. This success is playing an instrumental role in driving foreign direct investment to Dubai and making DMCC the world’s fastest growing free-zone for trade.
