Cisco's Data and Analytics Organization’s Customer Registry Team came up with an innovative approach to Manage and Govern the Customer Master Data. With the new trend shift where most organisations are focusing more on the Data, it is an important step to manage and govern Customer Master Data. This has helped the Business Team in engaging with the stakeholders, helping grow Cisco revenue just by managing and keeping a clean copy of Customer Data.
By keeping the clean customer data with the embedding of Machine Learning, Cisco's Data and Analytics Organization was able to reduce duplicate customer information. This is a huge improvement in terms of recurring revenue, sales planning and the New Year readiness program which are all crucial for the sales team for Cisco thereby helping the Customer and Cisco to get a 360 degree view of the customer.
This new innovative approach to leverage the Machine Learning to keep the Cisco Customer Master Data in place achieved a trend shift for the entire team. The new solution it has opened doors to many more new innovative solutions for Cisco’s Data and Analytics organization as a whole.
