Sales Partnerships, Inc (SPI) provides field-based turn-key sales outsourcing, contract sales, and brand engagement services for Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies. We engage face-to-face with a brand’s customers while providing complete transparency and accountability. As a specialist BPO company in sales, our calling card has historically included fielding and managing successful teams in a matter of days and weeks that would normally take quarters or years to deliver, while still providing the gold standard for brand protection.
Operating a field sales organization successfully and safely during a global pandemic required an unprecedented response from our support team. 2020 was an historic year for our organization in terms of the way the support staff was able to quickly adapt to help us innovate to make field sales possible and successful in a safe way.
Outline the team's achievements since July 1 2019 that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):
Safe field sales in 2020 required the ability to identify detailed Covid data on a daily basis for every county (and neighborhood where available) then have that data integrate into an AI based territory management system to route around potential hotspots while optimizing available sales opportunities. Because we developed multi-layer analysis overlay capabilities for territory management - our support team was able to engineer a creative solution to make field sales work again.
Our support team developed processes and systems to acquire the CDC and State data (as well as government shut-downs, etc) and invent a methodology to incorporate this into our existing territory management system. Leveraging our AI based system allowed for the trillion+ potential solutions to be quickly optimized into one within minutes for every territory. Sales support then implemented notification and routing solutions to allow our reps to be able to produce safely and effectively despite their territories being changed (sometimes more than once per day.)

The way SPI’s sales support team used our unique territory management technology is single handedly responsible for enabling our reps to continue field activity during a pandemic. Competing sales organizations as well as client internal sales forces had to withdraw from 40% of the markets we were able to safely navigate. By being able to look at Covid safety at a more granular level, we were able to remain safe while still working pockets that weren’t hotspots within States that were averaging Covid case counts in aggregate too high to safely work.
From a revenue perspective, their efforts implementing these solutions enabled us to generate an additional $100 million in revenue for of our clients.. Their support allowed us to exceed quota in 2020 (by 105% while still being held to pre-Covid quotas), while our industry peers saw on average a 30% drop in sales.
Most importantly, their work enabled us to return to field sales in targeted areas while keeping our team and customers safely. In concert with rigorous safety protocols and adjustments to how we could engage in the field, their work helped us have zero documented Covid cases from field activity in 2020.
