Sandler Training of Kansas City is a 26-year old professional development and training enterprise that has now trained more than 3000 clients! We are not a seminar company!! We are a proud high achieving franchisee of the Sandler Corporation, the world’s largest training organization.

With a core team of five highly proficient and personable people, we continue to expand service offerings that now include in-house and on-site sales training, business coaching, leadership development, and hiring assessments for perspective salespeople.

Upscaling our teleconferencing technology in 2020, our Sandler Training is available to client businesses based in metro Kansas City MO/KS or the State of Kansas even when they are traveling throughout the United States and the world.

Our team is led by Dan Stalp who celebrated his 15th anniversary in 2020 at Sandler Training of Kansas City and is now the President. Dan drives our focus on building long-term customer relationships. Each year we outperform and out maneuver our competitors due to his tenacity.

Whether it be Fortune 500 companies, emerging enterprises, or individual sales professionals, we specialize in solving tough complex business challenges for them through our proven system for communicating, developing, and motivating people.

Outline the organization's achievements since July 1 2019 that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):

Revenue Growth: We experienced a 26% increase in revenue growth in 2020 over 2019 despite the Pandemic situation. In addition to new small and emerging clients, we acquired 6 new corporate clients which resulted in over $300,000 in fees during the last 14 months.

Business Expansion: Expanding further into the State of Kansas, we hired a new Sandler Training Account Manager who is based in Wichita. He came on board in October of 2020 and has already secured 4 new clients.

Client Training: We provided 73 Sales Mastery 90-minute training sessions and 72 Sandler Sales Foundation training sessions in the last 16 months. These regularly scheduled sessions supported our increasing number of clients to understand and master the Sandler method. 26 to 43 people attended each of these sessions at our Sandler Training Center in person or via Zoom videoconferencing. Our attendance increased by 35% from April 1, 2020, through today.

Outstanding Results: We provide our small business and corporate clients with sales, sales management, and customer care training. Additionally, we provide one-on-one coaching on an as-needed basis. This supports our clients to increase revenues, add new clients, and operate at higher levels. With many of our clients, they report monthly sales figures, key performance indicators, and profitability.

The Pandemic: To inform and encourage the business community during the Pandemic, we created special on-line topic sessions such as “Prospecting During Turbulent Times” and “Managing Fear During Turbulent Times.” They were presented via Zoom and at no charge.

Significant Sandler Training Growth: Rather than close our doors completely and abandon ourclients,we internally strategized about how to maintain and evenexpand our services. Even though we had greatly reduced new business revenues from March 15-May 31, we were able to secure new clients including corporate clients in 2020.

We communicated with our clients about their situations during the Pandemic to gain an understanding of how best to serve them with their sales training and coaching needs. We encouraged and provided even more support to them – when they needed it most. We advanced our Zoom technology with better cameras, speakers, and best practices to move forward as best they could. We were able to retain our clients, while several of our competitors were reporting just the opposite situation for them.

Outstanding Results for Client Businesses: One of our clients shared about how we supported him and his staff so they could effectively implement the Sandler Training system. This provided him with the confidence and ability to increase their sales. In fact,he reported that just over a year, revenues grew from $300k to $1M. He added - not only did his sales triple - he continued to master our Sandler Training methods to add new clients in much less time. Another client reported our coaching of their five business development professionals resulted in a 43% increase in new business in one year.
