USANA is known around the world for its mission to help others achieve “true health and true wealth.” It’s a mission that begins with USANA’s employees, who are encouraged to improve health in all areas. From a healthy lifestyle, to fitness, finances, mindfulness, and both personal and professional growth, USANA gives unlimited support for advancement and success. The company prides itself on being a strong corporate citizen, making incredible charitable contributions to both its local community and those in need worldwide.

USANA has repeatedly been named one of Utah’s Best Companies to Work For by Utah Business magazine; one of America’s Best Companies to Work For by Outside Magazine, and one of the Best Places to Work for in the Direct Selling Industry by Direct Selling News. USANA has also been commended with the Work/Life Award from the Utah Department of Workforce Services and the Office of Work & Family Life.

Achievements

2020 was an extremely difficult year for everyone, and despite a global pandemic, USANA Kids Eat knew they couldn’t stop providing meals for children and families despite schools being closed. During the COVID pandemic, Kids Eat continued operations and was able to still provide meals for children even though they were learning at home.

The organization’s latest initiative revolved around providing meals for children and their families who will be away from school for a stretch of time due to holiday break in December and January. These bags provided weeks of meals to keep them healthy and fed through the holidays.

During the pandemic, USANA also partnered with Utah-based manufacturer,Dynamic Blending,to produce more than28,000eight-ounce bottles of hand sanitizer. Bottles were donated to local Salt Lake andSummit Countyhospitals and police and fire departments, as well as local UPS and FedEx distribution centers. A special donation will also be made to the Navajo Nation.

USANA is continuing its fight to protect the environment by becoming a member of the Utah Sustainable Business Coalition. The company pledged to reduce plastic waste in 2020 and beyond as part of its coalition efforts. USANA’s first step in the pledge was to move to smaller bottles to reduce wasted space and to make the switch from plastic bottles to 25% post-recycled material bottles.

Why

USANA employees enjoy a fun, open, community-focused workplace led by a management team committed to act on its employees’ ideas, values, and concerns. Some of the many healthy initiatives USANA provides include: complimentary USANA nutritional products, onsite fitness facilities, indoor basketball court, 4,000 square feet of locker room space, and a 2,000 square foot cardio and strength-training facility; contracts with licensed instructors to teach group fitness classes such as yoga, bootcamp, and CrossFit.

USANA seeks to make a positive impact on the financial health of its employees. As a growing corporation, USANA ensures its employees are well compensated for their time and efforts. USANA’s wages are competitive for the Utah job market; the company’s most recent external wage survey showed employee compensation to fall within +/-5 percent of market salaries. This does not include the company’s generous benefits, bonuses, 3.5 percent 401(k) match, or considerable profit-sharing program. In fact, USANA’s profit-sharing program alone has averaged 13.2 percent of employees’ base wages over the last four years. USANA also offers tuition reimbursement for undergraduate/graduate degrees, as well as a number of certifications. The program is heavily utilized by employees and pays out around $150,000 a year.

USANA is always looking to improve the lives of its employees, and USANA executives deliver on giving employees improved benefits and time with family. USANA offers 16 “family hours” for employees to use to ensure they have as much family time as possible.
