Viettel Post JSC is a member company of Viettel Group, established on July 1, 1997, formerly known as Press Release Center, with the original mission as serving military agencies in the Ministry of Defense.

In 2007, the growth rate was 73 times higher than in 2000, creating jobs for over 1.000 employees.

In 2009, Viettel Post successfully conducted the IPO in the quiet stock market situation.

In 2015, Viettel Post’s network expanded to all provinces and cities nationwide.

In 2018, total revenue reached 218 million USD, 3 times higher than 2016 data. ViettelPost delivery application was launched - Marking a technological breakthrough of Viettel Post, catching up with the global digital transformation trend.

In 2019, total revenue reached 344 million USD. In 2020, the company’s total revenue reached 741,191 million USD, an increase of 120% compared to 2019. During this year, while many business struggle to survive the Covid-19 pandemic, Viettel Post was able to weather the storm with it’s growth rate more than double (2,1) compared to the average index of Vietnam postal industry.

-On July 1, 2019, Viettel Post officially launched the ride-hailing app MyGo and e-commerce platform Voso.vn. One month after launching, MyGo had 102.000 partners. So far, MyGo is maintaining 87.000 full-time partners, Voso has 144.632 suppliers with more than 255.000 products of all kinds.

-In 2020, countless businesses got heavily damaged by Covid-19, however with the right movements, Viettel Post growth rate remain double the postal industry average. Viettel Post ensured safety for all employees during the Covid pandemic, guarantee to provide and not a single employee had to be dismissed, no salary was cut, the average income: 874 USD/person/month. In addition, Viettel Post also conducts multiple charity programs and activities to support people and government agencies in the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic.

-From a traditional postal company, Viettel Post today own the most high-tech Logistics center with the highest capacity conveyor belt system in Vietnam, reaching the maximum capacity of 42.000 parcels/hour, saving 91% of the manpower.

-Viettel Post is proud to have the largest network in Vietnam with 63 branches, 8 functional departments, 3 centers (SBU), 5 member companies, 2 of which are in Myanmar and Cambodia, 2.200 post offices.

According to the General Statistics Office, in 2020 Vietnam had a total of 101,7 thousand enterprises suspended business or stopping operations, 13,9% increase from 2019. Thus, on average, nearly 8.500 businesses withdraw every month. 31,8 million people lost their jobs/incomes, most severe in 10 years’ time. However, ViettelPost still maintained a growth rate of 8,2%; 2,1 times higher than the average growth rate of Vietnam Postal industry.
