Michal worked in few salons, felt like she was in “beauty factories” where therapists measured by how much they sold and rushed through treatments.
In August 2018 she becomes her own boss full time. It was an immediate success. Her salon is in a leafy street, in Emu Plains, Australia. She now helps clients with products when they needed and enhance women’s beauty without rushing them out the door.
Today, MICHAL GABRIEL Beauty and Brow™is an innovative and award-winning Australian beauty salon.
Specialising in Natural Eyebrow Restoration and Design. Helping women who had abad experienceorcompromised eyebrows.
Creating WORLD-CLASS NATURAL EYEBROW DESIGN, so women gain their confidence back and trust beauty therapists again.
Her passion and purpose are to connect with her clients and make them feel good about themselves.
In the process of saving natural eyebrows, she was exposed to the devastating results of current trends. She wants to shout to the world especially the beauty industry, to stop.
We need to rethink how we are approaching this eyebrow problem and how we, as beauty leaders defining this service.
in the past 12 months, her eyebrow maintenance treatment increased by 66%, indicating demand for natural solution.

SUCCESS:
Financial growth - increase by 48%
Increase in helping new clients compare to last year 35%
Increase in Eyebrow Maintenance Treatment compare to last year 66%
The above stats indicating how women are thirsty for natural solutions. Hopefully, the beauty industry leaders will take her findings onboard and together will change the way we look at eyebrow treatment. After all, eyebrows can not be hidden and can determine how we look eg. expressions.
With this in mind, the closest to her heart were cancer patients. She wants to educate them as they are most vulnerable and are in need to find a solution for when they lose their eyebrows. They need to be educated not to rush to irreversible quick-fix solutions. As their eyebrow hair will grow eventually. They need education.
'Look Good Feel Better' is a charity that Michal volunteered in the past. They show cancer patients how to wear headcovers and apply makeup so they feel better about themselves. Now that COVID has quiet down in Australia, they will soon start the meetings again. Michal is looking forward to it.
Eyebrow tattooing (Feathering, Microblading etc.) is very popular and Michal has seen some of the results, she was driven to create an eyebrow tattooing survey. She is looking forward to the results, she would like to have at least 1,000 participants and is looking forward to the results. Michal believes a Beauty therapists job is to deliver BEAUTY, not damage women's confidence and self-esteem. She avoided leaving the house thinking she looked like a witch with 5 scars on her eyebrows. What these women are going through? Eyebrows can not be hidden, they can change the whole face!
She believes brow specialists offering these solutions because of the way our industry treats eyebrow service. Eyebrow waxing started as an additional treatment to hair treatments by hairdressers. Clients are asking “can I just get an eyebrow wax”. It is not JUST an eyebrow wax. Michal’s allow an hour for eyebrow designs. The right eyebrows can lift women’s self-esteem instantly. It gives women confidence. It makes women look in the mirror and smile at what she sees. We are changing the way we are thinking about eyebrow treatments, this is why quick solutions like tattooing are coming in. This service could be improved if we implement a program. For example, a woman who wants a tattoo could enter a program for 6 months before a tattoo is applied. This way we can be confident that there her hair doesn't grow back. We can change the world, one eyebrow at a time!
