Nomination Title: AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC)

AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) is a subsidiary of Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI), the Philippines’ largest developer of sustainable estates offering a diverse mix of properties such as residential, commercial, and leisure developments, that support local economic growth and nation-building. ALLHC is ALI’s vehicle to pursue real estate logistics and industrial estate development. At present, with 4 industrial estates and over 200,000 sq.m. of warehouse gross leasable area, ALLHC is the leading developer of industrial parks and a major player in real estate logistics in the Philippines. Other developments of ALLHC include commercial properties, Tutuban Center and South Park Center both in Metro Manila.

In 2019, ALLHC’s net income grew by 15% to Php 641 million while revenues reached Php 5.3 billion. In 2020, ALLHC’s revenues stood at Php 3.72 billion. In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company once more achieved a double-digit net income growth of 10% at Php 702 million. The continuous growth year after year was driven by strong performances in the sale of industrial lots and non-core assets, and stable warehouse and office leasing operations.

Consistent with the company’s objective to support countryside development and job creation, ALLHC has expanded its footprint in key areas all over the country.

In 2019, ALLHC launched two industrial park projects. In April, ALLHC broke ground for its 3rd industrial park, Laguindingan Technopark, the first world-class industrial estate in the Mindanao region with a total gross area of 105 hectares. In December of the same year, ALLHC introduced its 4th industrial park, Pampanga Technopark. Spanning a total gross area of 192 hectares, the industrial park is envisioned to become another Luzon growth center, boosting trade and commerce in the Central Luzon corridor. Both Technoparks aim to yield more employment opportunities for local citizens by drawing foreign and local companies engaged in a wide range of enterprises, ultimately contributing to the economic development of the Misamis Oriental and Pampanga regions and its nearby provinces.

In November 2020, ALLHC likewise celebrated the 30th anniversary of Laguna Technopark, one of the country’s first privately-owned industrial estates. Launched in 1990, Laguna Technopark has been instrumental in the economic progress of the dynamic CALABARZON (Southern Luzon) region, allowing the world’s leading manufacturing investors to thrive.

Despite constraints during the pandemic, ALLHC also expanded its warehouse gross leasable area to 207,000 sq.m. in 2020, an 18% growth from the previous year.

Manufacturing and logistics play a crucial role in keeping the country’s trade and commercial activities going. ALLHC believes its developments provide synergies for these industries, supporting the country’s economic recovery and growth.

Beyond developing world-class industrial estates and logistics facilities, ALLHC continues to create value and to make a positive impact in the communities where it is present.

In 2019, ALLHC, together with the local government, assisted in putting up an e-library for the municipality of Naic, Cavite, for continuous learning and education. Tutuban Center converted its former activity center into an indoor basketball court, becoming a compelling neighborhood sports hub. Other initiatives such as regular medical missions and clean-up drives were undertaken for the communities.

The pandemic underpinned ALLHC’s core value of malasakit (compassion) and renewed the Filipino spirit of bayanihan (community spirit). In 2020, aligned with its mission of supporting communities, ALLHC actively participated in ALI’s Pay-it-Forward campaign and Project Ugnayan, and reached out to marginalized communities in Laguna, Cavite, Pampanga, Laguindingan in Misamis Oriental, and Metro Manila. In support of the nation’s frontliners, ALLHC assisted in the procurement of medical supplies and equipment at the time when these were scarce and urgently needed. These were donated by the Ayala Land Group to beneficiary hospitals. Also, in partnership with the City of Manila and other Ayala Group subsidiaries, ALLHC constructed and donated public convenience facilities in the Kartilya ng Katipunan Park for the benefit of the local community.

Through its projects and developments, ALLHC works towards uplifting the lives of people. Its industrial estates and real estate logistics facilities are testaments to ALLHC's vision of creating environments that energize and support businesses, transforming places into dynamic centers across the country.
