Eastern Communications’ Eastern Cloud was officially launched in 2019 and continuously expanded in 2020.

As one of the premier telecommunications companies in the Philippines, Eastern Communications has been committed to not only providing businesses with a portfolio of dependable and affordable products but also being the partner of enterprises when it comes to achieving their goals. Living up to its “High-Tech” brand promise, the company aims to deliver innovative products to its clients, hence introducing Eastern Cloud in the market.

Eastern Cloud is one of the most customizable cloud platforms in the market. It gives customers the power to provide processing, storage, networks, and other fundamental computing resources that businesses need. Using the latest and secured cloud computing technology, Eastern’s state-of-the-art cloud platform enables creativity, productivity, and collaboration on-demand where you need it, when you need it.

Eastern has been offering the service pre-pandemic and has continuously educated businesses to embrace cloud technology because of the flexibility and efficiency it has to offer. 94% of Philippine businesses view cloud-based IT solutions as an important factor in mitigating the impact of the pandemic, according to the Alibaba Cloud-commissioned survey “The Role of Cloud in Asia and Confidence in Asian Innovation.”

As of December 2020, Eastern reported 94% revenue growth among contracted Eastern Cloud subscriptions vs. January 2020. Meanwhile, its online transactions garnered a 95% revenue increase by December 2020 vs. January 2020.

Overall, Eastern’s customer base grew by 7% in 2020 despite the pandemic.
