Nomination Title: The Biz Dojo Inc.

The Biz Dojo training team started out as a couple of friends who wanted to start an inspirational podcast in late 2020. With multiple certifications in coaching, training and development and leadership, the pair wanted to share their love for personal growth with the world. The goal: talk to some amazing people, learn some cool new skills and frameworks, hopefully inspire just 1 listener (probably a friend or family member).

The podcast was not only inspirational to the thousands of listeners it would engage around the world, but just 6 months after launching the team would win multiple awards for creativity and leadership in the training and development podcasting space. Shortly after, they would acquire national and internaional sponsors, be highlighted in renowned publications (Forbes), and would incorporate as a full-service coaching, training and B2B consultancy business by the start of Q2 2021.

Today, the team offers consultation as an external trainer for digital media, marketing and content developement that enables businesses to grow into new markets, createreach, and better understand the ever-changing world of digital content. They have helped businesses of all sizes, and even provide pro-bono training and development to local entrepreneurs.

The Biz Dojo Inc. experienced exponential growth in it's first year. This was seen in all aspects of the business, with their digital media and content marketing arm providing a significant portion of this growth. It includes over 820% growth in client-base, more than 310% growth in B2B service contracts, and more than 3200% growth in social reach. These numbers have also enabled more than 4800% growth in finances in year - an incredible trajectory for a business that started as just two friends sharing their thoughts and experience on a podcast.

Having started in just October of 2020, all of the business success TBD Inc. has experienced has happened in just 14months - from October 2020 to Dec 2021. Not only have we also enabled dozens of local entrepreneurs through our probono work, and our podcast has helped grow businesses and individuals on it's own, but in 2021 our achievements also include:

With less than 20% of podcasts making it beyond 8 episodes, a podcast that makes it past 50, wins multiple awards, incorporates as a business, and finds worldwide clients for digital content strategization in it's first 6 months... that's pretty darn rare. In fact, for the podcast awards alone, The Biz Dojo Inc. is the only Canadian podcast to win both an AVA Digital Gold Award and a Hermes Creative Gold award - and just 1 of 10 around the world.

Our clients have grown brands as a direct result of our support in creating digital, marketing and content strategies. Our philosphy in this space is different, and we are not contractors to provide these services, but instead act as professionals who train and mentor the business to help them learn the skills necessary to support digital content on their own. Our success is in letting our clients go - to see them fly from the nest for the first time, and to move on to support other clients as we work to build up these skillsets across all industries.

We know that this space can be difficult, especially for smaller businesses and entrepreneurs, and we aim to help make that transition easier. This is also why we offer probono services to smaller businesses we feel need our support to get better reach.

Many of these clients, including probono, are actually our competitors - and there is no better form of recognition than when competitors seek your expertise.
