Slingshot Aerospace is led by a group of experts with experience in aerospace, intelligence, and data architecture. Founded in 2017, incubated by Techstars LA, and backed by leading investors, Slingshot Aerospace is growing rapidly.
With multiple technology patents pending and cutting-edge decision intelligence technologies, large U.S. defense and aerospace customers, including the US Air Force and NASA, have put their trust in Slingshot.
Our team has created a easy to use and access, immersive space training and accurate physics engine which commercially launched in July 2021. The BD team created partnerships, with schools, universities, worldwide governments and military members, to enable a deeper understanding of the space environment that can be accessed by anyone with a web browser. Our training and platform is now used as part of on-boarding for those participating in the Joint Task Force, Sprint Advanced Concept Training to give individuals a common understanding of the space and orbital dynamics. This exercise is conducted times a year to integrate worldwide commercial and defense space solutions. Slingshot Laboratory was also selected by the US Air Force Academy, and the US Space Force for further development for guardian training.
Furthermore the team has created the first satellitecollision avoidance and communication platform, Beacon, that is data agnostic. Within the first three months of announcing the product, we have signed letters of intent with 60% of the market to become early adopters of the product. As of today, our early adopters have been onboarded to the platform and are shaping the future of collision avoidance in space for future generations to come.
In addition, Slingshot created Slingshot Orbital, bringing in multiple sources of satellite observations validating the accuracy, and alerting data providers when there is an outlier that may indicate a problem with their equipment, helping our partners find thier issues at near time opposed to weeks.

Previous to Slingshot Laboratory, many space concepts were taught with a beach ball and a hula hoop. The other software for space operators was largely for experts in the field and to build a simple scenerio, a training and time investment was required. Most of the existing products, were not specificlly created to for visualising concepts but rather for computing orbital dynamics, and needed experts to create the scenario. Now, anyone including a 5 year old can make and play with an orbit and see the elements change accurately.
Slingshot Beacon brings together satellite operators from all over the globe, and refines the conjunction assessment data, and gives operators validated data from multiple sources.It is one of the first products that is getting direct industry feedback for rules of the road, and setting safe and sustainable standards for future generations of space use.
With these efforts and partnerships we have been able to win contracts with the USAF, USSF, NASA and commercial entities, as well as, produce customer solutions worldwide.
