NeuroLeadership Institute’s (NLI) BBC Brain-Based Coaching™ is the cornerstone educational event operated through the global Education Department. The BBC™ engages directly with consumers around the world (HR professionals, managers, and independent coaches). Historically hosted in-person, the pandemic required transforming the program virtually, which we embraced and maximized. Below you’ll see how in the last year we flourished in Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Client Experience.
- Program Description: Coaching can apply to many human interactions and our BBC™ methodology remains distinctive in the coaching industry because it actions NLI’s mission to “transform leadership through neuroscience.” Cutting-edge, research-based tools and skills help our participants effectively coach all types of people, including the high-performance, business-focused individuals within the workplace adn private practice. Participants learn how to facilitate positive change in others by working at the level of that individual’s thinking. By understanding the neuroscience behind insight-driven coaching conversations, goal-setting, and habit-building, they unlock new possibilities for robust interactions that translate into measurable results for their “coachees”. The program is accredited with the International Coach Federation, whose competencies guide coaches globally.
- Goals Since June 2021:
- Improve client experience through more streamlined operations and delivery.
- Using a decreased marketing budget, diversify marketing and increase sales.
- Development:
- Operations: Each region designed their own schedules, staggering programs based on their ability to deliver and providing options for their clients.
- Sales & Marketing: No longer targeting marketing to cities for in-person events, consultants used budgets to flood free local job boards and newsletters.
- Client Experience: Our trainers became accustomed to virtual delivery, so they were tasked with fine tuning the experience by handling Zoom, answering logistics questions, and managing the Learning Management System, without the help of Operations.
- Results:
- Operations: We learned that by staggering regional programs in conjunction with each other, we tripled the options for global clients to attend a virtual program hosted anywhere (i.e., a Sydney resident can opt out of the 7-8pm APAC program, because North America offers a 3-4pm EST option (5-6am Sydney)).
- Sales & Marketing: We widened our client base and footprint by attracting participants from smaller towns and places. Sales increased 40%, even with a 50% reduction in marketing funds. We established 25% more relationships with mid-range companies, who more quickly purchase the bigger deals with the Solutions arm of NLI.
- Client Experience: The trainer’s ownership of their delivery resulted in a more seamless experience for our clients (see Testimonials attached), thus becoming more self-sustaining, and freeing 20% of Operations’ capacity.
