While Hemplucid had an existing e-commerce presence, they wanted a more modern experience that would stand out in the crowded CBD market, and match their new visual identity and packaging design developed during the same period. During the web redesign process, the Hemplucid team also expressed a desire to showcase their story more clearly, with areas that could educate consumers about CBD and help cut down on misinformation. What resulted was a cleaner web layout, paired with organic backgrounds and fluid information blocks that tied into the new nature inspired Hemplucid brand. The overall navigation funnels you naturally through the founding team’s story and into educational resources explaining what CBD is and how it can help with common problems people face. In all instances, you can navigate to or land in the shopping experience that was updated to clearly convey information and make the checkout process more seamless, leveraging Shopify’s backend processing platform. The product pages themselves underwent some of the largest design changes. Below the main product information, we were able to incorporate both story and educational elements, to tie everything together into a seamless, modern, and easy to shop experience.
