KARSAN AUTOMOTIVE
Karsan, which has been producing in the automotive industry for more than 55 years, started to produce its own branded electric vehicles in 2018. In 2018, it launched the JEST vehicle with the name of e-JEST. After 6 months in 2019, Karsan has launched its 8 m electric bus model e-ATAK vehicle. After 1.5 years, presenting the driverless version of the e-ATAK vehicle at the beginning of 2021. Karsan launched its new electric bus series e-ATA, with lengths of 10-12 and 18 m, in the second half of 2021. Its 100% electric product range was completed from 6 m to 18 m and managed to become the first and only bus company in Europe. Karsan continues its efforts to leave a cleaner, sustainable and safer world to future generations with the transformation for the last 5 years and named e-Volution. Karsan continues nonstop on its way with the vision of " One Step Ahead In The Future Of Mobility".

KARSAN Autonomous e-ATAK’s Description
The launch of the Karsan Autonomous e-ATAK was in February,2021. Since 2021, as a first in USA, Autonomous e-ATAK, developed by Karsan and ADASTEC, carries its passengers at the campus of Michigan State University. In addition to that, May 2022, Level-4 automated electric bus Autonomous e-ATAK started to serve for public transport in Stavanger, Norway thus became the first self-driving technology bus in Europe to carry passengers in the city. Also Autonomous e-ATAK is operated in Presidential Palace of Turkey and in technopark of Bucharest, Romania for R&D study. On the other hand, Keolis, one of the biggest operator in Europe, has started to test Autonomous e-ATAK in France.
Level-4 Autonomous technology that move autonomously on a planned route with high-tech sensors and cameras, can execute the autonomous drive at a speed of 50 km/h, day or night, in all weather conditions. Autonomous e-ATAK, which performs driverless operations such as approaching the stops, managing the getting on & off processes, providing the management and administration at intersections and crossings and traffic lights. Thanks to Autonomous e-ATAK’s BMW batteries, up to 300 km range can be provided.
