Neak Oknha Chen Zhi is the Chairman of Prince Holding Group. A visionary leader
In less than a decade, Chen Zhi has turned Prince Group into a leading conglomerate in the Southeast Asia, developing skyscrapers, introducing innovative digital-first bank and a new airline that offers low-cost flights [REDACTED FOR PUBLICATION]. It has also launched the first sustainable real estate project in Cambodia.
Chen Zhi has acted as the key leader for the Group as it oversees the work of over 80 companies. He has regularly facilitated dialogue between Cambodian companies, civic organizations, and government officials. He has recruited a team of professional local and international management executives. Prince Holding Group has also developed prime real estate – residential units and commercial malls – and transformed Cambodia’s capital into a thriving metropolis.
Since its inception in 2015, Prince Holding Group’s real estate units have amassed a land bank of 47.5 million sq.m. As of the end of 2021, assets under management exceeded $2.5 billion. The Group has delivered 11 projects over the past five years and is currently working on Prince One Tropica, Prince International Plaza and Prince Happiness Plaza, three fast-developing projects in Phnom Penh.

A well-respected philanthropist
Chen Zhi is a well-known philanthropist in Cambodia and has contributed US$6 million to the governments of Cambodia and Laos to help them procure COVID-19 vaccines. Over the two previous financial years, he ensured that strict anti-epidemic measures implemented across units ensured none of the Group’s employees experienced a COVID-19 infection and all employees were promptly vaccinated and kept safe.
Chen Zhi has also contributed to social causes via Prince Foundation. In 2021, the Group led by Chen Zhi joined hands with the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport to launch Chen Zhi Scholarship, one of Cambodia’s largest scholarship programs for Cambodian university students. The seven-year scholarship program that aims to disburse US$2 million in scholarship funding will pay full tuition fees and stipends for 400 selected students to help them pursue Bachelor of Science degrees at top Cambodian universities. It will help produce a new generation of graduates that will drive a path towards a digital and sustainable economy. Awardees will also be offered internship opportunities.
Chen Zhi also spearheads Prince Foundation, the Group’s philanthropic arm that works on making a difference in terms of education and youth development, healthcare and community engagement working with local and international NGOs. The Group also partnered with Plan International Cambodia to launch the WASH intervention program at all schools in Preah Sihanouk province in 2021, benefitting 39,000+ students. The program plans to install 198 pedal-operated handwashing stations and donated 990 infrared thermometers across 99 schools.
In 2021, Prince Foundation made contributions of US$4.5 million towards education, healthcare, and communities in the Kingdom, impacting the lives of over 500,000 Cambodians.
