Compassion project turned global business: That is the story of OfficePartners360 (OP360). Our founders are advocates before they are entrepreneurs. CEO Tim Boylan and CAO Dave Highbloom have known each other since they were still in school. Eager to make a sustainable impact, they built an office in a basement garage in New York, where they sold t-shirts out of the trunks of their cars to support campus groups advocating for climate action and the protection of endangered species. Even after their fundraising business became a multi-million dollar company years later, no longer in a garage, Tim and Dave continued supporting their local youth groups. Meanwhile, our President, Ben Roberts, volunteered as a counselor for the Children's Aid Society working with underprivileged kids from the Bronx, Harlem, and Queens.
In 2010, believing in the potential and talents of the Filipinos, Tim started outsourcing in the Philippines. His friends, Dave and Ben, were his first clients. Almost a decade later, the two joined OP360 as its executives. CCO Aaron Fischer would eventually complete the leadership team with decades of experience in the BPO industry. Together, the four have grown OP360’s network to more than 3,000 employees spread across Asia, North America, and, more recently, Latin America.
Their shared commitment to an efficient and giving world drives our operations and philanthropic efforts today. As we support the world's fastest-growing companies to scale pain-free, we ensure that our people are well taken care of. Tim, Dave, Ben, and Aaron lead us in nurturing an open and safe work environment through, among others, celebrations of our LGBTQIA+ identifying workforce and access to a more inclusive HMO coverage. And when the pandemic disrupted the employment landscape, they were hands-on in coordinating with various teams to support our delivery centers and remote workforce. In turn, we were not only able to keep our doors open; we also expanded operations and provided job opportunities to hundreds of local talents.
We started our near-shore venture in Barranquilla, Colombia, in October 2021. As a trading port in the country’s northern coast, Barranquilla is rife with potential for economic and industrial development. Our expansion there allows us to provide more services and opportunities to our current and prospective clients, including bilingual support, while also investing in the local economy.
Then, in April 2022, we found ourselves in Mindanao. Ahead of our official launch in Q3, we welcomed nearly 100 interested applicants to the very first OP360 Davao Career Open House. Ben assisted them throughout the hybrid application process and even shot TikTok videos with them. Tapping into the city’s pool of competent talents and establishing our fourth Philippine site there enable us to build our geographic resilience and maintain a competitive advantage. We aim to hire more than 500 Davaoeños for onsite and remote roles this year. And if the open house is anything to go by, we are set to grow even more before 2022 ends.
Beyond business, our founders’ beginnings inspire us to meet our deep sense of social responsibility with time and financial support. As part of our philanthropic arm, OP360 Cares, we have adopted 4,300 students across four beneficiary schools, focusing on their practical skill development and, for older learners, preparing them for future careers. To encourage employees to get involved, we give them paid time off to volunteer in person in partner communities. On top of these efforts, we are working on building better learning environments and leading relief efforts for victims of natural disasters.
From a garage business and a weekend volunteering stint, OP360 is now among the fastest-growing full-service outsourcing companies in the Philippines and the world. We celebrate the successes and recognitions we have achieved as a team under the transformational leadership of our founders. Below, we name a few:
