Jeunesse is graced with what is perhaps the most decorated team of marketers in the direct selling industry. Since 2014, the team has garnered more than 700 awards for a range of creative work — from print publications, packaging and videos, full-scale event branding and production, to digital communications, websites, mobile apps, eblasts, social media graphics, and more. This conglomerate functions as a global creative agency of more than 100 copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, web designers, project managers, digital marketers, event planners, production crew, and brand managers who engage Jeunesse Distributors and consumers across all touchpoints. For Jeunesse, 2021 was the year of thinking globally while acting locally — specifically focusing on localizing products for strategic markets. For the marketing team, that meant creating more than 20 targeted new product concepts…from formula and packaging to brand identity and award-winning marketing assets.
In addition to developing and rolling out new products, the marketing group was responsible for creating engaging global events for limited in-person and virtual audiences, continuing to strengthen and communicate the Jeunesse brand values across the globe, and sharing company information, promotions, and activities across all platforms, keeping Jeunesse stakeholders engaged in activities, creating amazing incentive trips for the company’s top earners, and raising funds for the company’s nonprofit foundation. All of which are localized, customized, and translated into up to 25 languages!
In 2021, Jeunesse launched 23 new products across five regions, ranging from supplements and beauty items to beverages and personal care goods. A localized strategy included using local ingredients and manufacturers, filling unique niches, and entering growing product categories in specific markets.
In Brazil — one of the world’s top 5 beauty-obsessed countries — Jeunesse launched its NuBod™ line of body sculpting products and two new fragrances, one of which won Best New Fragrance in the Pure Beauty Global Awards. In Indonesia, the company launched Jeunesse 7VN™, an energy product that includes botanical ingredients unique to the area.
This localization strategy resulted in lowered product costs and market growth. The average growth of the top three markets was greater than 106% in 2021.
