Released in January 2022, mobiAgri, which is an application, has rapidly acquired its leading position in the Vietnamese market by creating a strong connection between the four stakeholders, including the Government, enterprises, farmers, and experts. Based on a preeminent Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and the use of big data and telecommunications resources, mobiAgri utilizes plant data provided by agricultural experts to create complete solutions for users through its various functions, such as Plant Doctor, Plant Encyclopedia, Connecting to Experts, and Weather Forecast.

The heart of mobiAgri is Plant Doctor, which applies AI in diagnosing plant diseases. The main technology used for this model is AI network architectures based on Convolutional neural networks and the Attention model. The system training is continuously improved using data from plants at different growth stages coming from various regions of Vietnam, thereby increasing the accuracy in identifying diseases on each plant. Specifically, for each sample (plant or disease) the system analyzes at least 1,000 high quality photos (above 2 megapixels) with a variety of shooting angles, ratios, and light conditions to provide correct analytical results. This function is designed right in the center of the application to allow users to take photos or import them from their personal device. The machine will automatically analyze and diagnose plant diseases, and then display the results and provide clear information for users. In addition, the system suggests connecting directly with experts or post the user’s questions in the forum for further discussion, which is also integrated to the app.
Plant Encyclopedia is a useful online plant database for users. This function is beneficial for users as it provides technical information on farming through a large number of electronic documents focusing on pests and plant diseases. These documents are categorized and displayed in labelled folders to help users view and search information easily. When the users select a specific plant, the system will show the plant information, recommend methods for growing and taking care of the plant, and provide detailed instruction about potential pests and diseases.
Connecting to Experts is a function that helps users quickly get advice from experts regarding plant problems. The experts, who are highly experienced agricultural scientists, will be recommended by system based on their expertise on each plant. The users of mobiAgri can choose between two supporting methods, which are online support (getting advice through video call) and offline support (booking a face-to-face consultation or chat box).
Weather Forecast: Depending on the user's location, the system will use data from agro-meteorological stations to send extreme weather warnings, daily regional weather forecasts, and cultivation recommendations.

Due to the negative impact of Covid-19 and climate change, the Vietnamese Government has determined that digital transformation in agriculture is one of the vital solutions to ensure food security and achieve poverty reduction. Following the orientation of the Government, MobiFone determined to provide mobiAgri platform, which offers tremendous support for farmers, by enhancing their knowledge and providing them access to high-tech in agriculture.
