HeyMo, The Experience Design Company is an agency that designs experiences and moments for brands, was established in Istanbul-Turkey, produces experience projects in many countries of the world today. Today, HeyMo leads operations worldwide on 18 countries and specializes most especially on creative experience contents, technology, application of new media and community management.
Experience marketing, with its simplest definition, refers to the products or services of brands with tangible, not intangible contacts; to promote and experience by targeting the individual directly before the masses. When you look at the time period of the last 10 years, this field, which has been on the rise due to the traditional communication tools being taken for granted by consumers and perhaps overexposure, was first shaken by the pandemic that entered our lives in 2020, and then changed its shell. This market, where experience design and application are interpreted as events, almost stopped with the Covid-19 epidemic that swept the world in 2020. In a week, all physical meetings in the world have been postponed for an unknown period. This period was also devastating for many brands that focused on the event industry. Many institutions of the entertainment world, whose names are known with envy, declared bankruptcy one after another during this period.
When you look at experience marketing as a business, it has always been much more than physical meetings. An application you use on a smart device, a mobile site you visit, a conference you attend online, an international award ceremony you watch on your screen, fairs/expos that are eagerly awaited and that you never attend physically but always follow from afar, sports organizations that you follow closely even if you don't go were the always-existing outputs of experience marketing. This industry, which quickly faced this reality, returned to the game in a short time, perhaps by multiplying its channels. At the end of this transition period where not everyone has the same luck and ability, today experience designers have come as holistic communicators who use physical and digital media together.

The process that started with the goodness movement Festtogether, which we organized for the Needs Map in the first period; Autoshow Mobility, which is considered the world's largest digital fair, Media House we prepared for Samsung, the main sponsor of Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, Red Bull Mobile Esports World Finals for Red Bull in a completely virtual Istanbul, Love101 Farewell Season Launch for Netflix, GQ Man of The Year award ceremony, TRT World Forum, League of Legends Turkey Grand Final, Hepsiburada Nasdaq Digital Gong Ceremony were some of these hybrid projects.
This period brought HeyMo to 10 new customers (NETFLIX Emea, Samsung Worldwide, Disney Europe, NIKE Europe, Republic of Turkey Ministry for European Union Affairs, Pernod & Ricard, Arçelik Global, Automotive Distributors Association, Contemporary Istanbul Foundation, Trendyol E-commerce, Hepsiburada E-commerce) and 40% growth compared to the PBT profitability rate of 2019. At this point, we especially compared our PBTs with 2019, because 2020 was a weaker year due to pandemic conditions. Our growth there is 349%.
