Founded in 2007, Women Tech Council (WTC) focuses on the economic impact of women in tech by creating sustainable programs at every stage of the talent pipeline from high school to the board room. Cydni Tetro, President of WTC, leads initiatives that inspire, innovate, activate and amplify women in tech. WTC offers mentoring, visibility, opportunities and networking to more than 20,000 women and men working in technology to create business environments focused on inclusivity and high performance. Through this work, WTC propels women in technology careers and the talent pipeline by ensuring a strong, diverse and entrepreneurial technology workforce.

Beyond her role as CEO at Brandless, Cydni Tetro drives change in everything from inclusion and community engagement to public policy. She dedicates countless hours as the president and co-founder of Women Tech Council (WTC)–a nonprofit that advances women in tech at every stage of the economic pipeline. Since July 1, 2020, Tetro and team have:
- Activated more than 10,000 high school girls into STEM fields.
- Recognized and advanced the careers and work of hundreds of women throughout the technology sector.
- Created networking and opportunities for over 20,000 men and women throughout the tech community.
- Worked with state, industry and community leaders to help create opportunities to expand the economic pipeline for women into technology fields.
- Helped create pathways to increase the number of women in the C-suite and boardroom.
Her personal vision and dedicated work with WTC is reshaping the technology sector for women.

In the month of September (2020) alone, four times more women left the workforce than men. This shows the incredible need to help women in tech and the workforce. Through the Women Tech Council, Cydni helps create and enact programs from high school to the boardroom that amplify the economic impact of women in tech and expand the talent pipeline through programs that are sustainable, replicable and scalable. Under this model, these programs create lasting and long-reaching impact. Her work in this organization has activated tens of thousands of girls to pursue STEM fields, and helped usher more women into c-suite and board roles.
Additionally, Cydni gives back to small businesses and the entrepreneurial community through the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business Program, where she is a dedicated teacher, mentor and facilitator. She spends time working with women in tech, on boards and in her community to accelerate opportunity, inclusion and growth.
