Many companies are transforming to fit recent diversity and inclusion trends. Templeton was founded on D&I. As a young person from a BAME background, Templeton’s Founder and CEO Nadeem Ahmad wanted to create a truly diverse recruitment agency that also led diversity in tech and business.
Since 2010 we expanded into new offices across the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Netherlands. Templeton became the first ever agency to feature on all three official Recruitment Industry Lists for three consecutive years: Recruiter Fast 50 (growth), Recruiter Hot 100 (productivity) and Recruitment International Top 500 (revenue).
In 2021 Templeton launched a Diversity Advisory Council to involve employees directly in the business and increase service inclusivity. We introduced a biannual anonymous survey to measure diverse employee representation, generate feedback and spearhead inclusivity initiatives.
In 2021 Templeton doubled our global office presence by opening offices in Paris, Warsaw, Bangalore and New York. In 2022 we doubled our employee base from 25 to 50+.
Diverse recruiters help diverse candidates into fulfilling employment and help client businesses become more inclusive. We found jobs for 100% more people in 2021 than 2020, with 40% of candidates being female or BAME, and another 20% identifying as diverse.
- Outline the organization's thought leadership achievements since July 1 2020 that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):

For less D&I-focused businesses – e.g. industries/countries where D&I is not embraced by governments or yet valued by consumers – Templeton create dialogues around D&I’s importance. When speaking with new clients, we seek first to understand each business’ goals, challenges and reasons behind lack of D&I support. Templeton then design bespoke diverse recruitment strategies aligned directly to each business’ problems and ambitions.
Templeton conducts original research by speaking with diverse candidates and business leaders to understand exact D&I recruitment, retention and career progression struggles. We create free resources to help clients and candidates, and ensure our services continually respond to the challenges and needs of businesses and diverse candidates globally.
