Business Awards Consulting(BAC) is a brand created as a result of the business development initiative launched in 2020 by Kuzey Akademi, one of Turkey's leading training and consultancy firms.
Kuzey Akademi has been providing corporate training and consultancy services to Turkey's largest institutions since its establishment in 2012. Expert psychologist Aslı Taş Kayabaş, founder of Kuzey Akademi, became Turkey’s first award consultant with "award consultancy" service she started the same year. In the past 8 years, Kuzey Academy brought awards to Turkey's leading companies from many prestigious international award programs.
Until 2020 under the roof of awards consultancy, only category selection and submission file preparation services were provided. Wiith the aim of maximizing the potential in award consultancy, Kuzey Academy needed a business development process, completely differentiated its award consultancy service and brought it under a new brand:BAC.
After the business development process, consultancy and agency services were combined. The service has been expanded to include all file preparation processes, starting with establishing the awards strategy of the institutions, and even the communication and PR process after the awards are won. While doing this, it has established different agreements and partnerships in order to expand the Kuzey Akademi team.
Business Awards Consulting is not only a new award consultancy firm/brand, but also brought a unique business development model to the award industry.
World's leading award agencies provide submission file preparation services and some of them also undertake the application process. Generally, that service starts after the client chooses the project topics to apply for and ends with the submission to the relevant award program. Contrary, Business Awards Consulting (BAC) ‘s new business development model offers companies a 1-year strategic awards partnership agreement to establish the strategy of the entire award process.
The strategic award consultancy model offers a unique model that combines,
-the consultancy servicefor the creation of the client’s award strategy and the 1-year award map,
-the agency servicewhich includes the submission preperation and operation of the application processes for all the award programs on the map, and
-the award-relatedCommunication and PR consultancy processesafter winning awards.
In this way, companies can manage all end-to-end award processes with a single service purchase.
The model covers;
- Establishment of an award strategy align with company targets

With this new business model, Business Awards Consulting had the opportunity to deepen further in the institutions it served in 2021, which increased both its success rate and business volume. While a total of 257 awards were won in 8 years until 2021, a total of 180 awards were won from 15 different award programs in 2021 alone with this new business model.BAC achieved 70% of its performance in the previous 8 years in just 1 year.
Business Awards Consulting was deemed worthy of the Most Honored Marketing Agency Grand Stevie award in the Stevie's International Business Awards 2021 award program.
In 2021 BAC;
-Worked with14 different clients,application files were prepared for55 different projects.
-All client companies in 2021 were awarded. Thecompany-based successrate is100%.50% of these clients won awards in all categories applied for.
-53 of the 55 projects that were consulted in 2021 were awarded.Theproject-based successrate is96%.
-The overall award winningrate in all categories is82%.(This rate is 65% in UK’s most successful award consultancy company)42%of the awards won were gold or grand awards.
With the success of new business development model in 2021, BAC carried its service outside Turkey; first EU client won 2 Gold awards this year.
BAC plans to grow outside of Turkey, especially on EU countries, Middle East and US.
