Nomination Title: Jeremy Pomerantz

Jeremy Pomerantz joined Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) in 2004 and spent 8 years as the SVP Sales and Marketing, managing and building NTC’s Sales and Marketing teams, as well as coordinating market strategy, company PR, operational best practices, and product roadmaps. His experience and knowledge of complex sales, strategic relationship building, sales management, marketing, and product management has been invaluable to NTC. Pomerantz successfully helped navigate NTC through the mortgage meltdown of 2008 with a winning marketing and sales strategy, resulting in NTC becoming the largest US provider in its fields of expertise.

In June of 2012, Pomerantz voluntarily transferred to a VP Business Development role in order to move out of state for personal reasons. Pomerantz also has deep technology sector aptitude, having spent ten years in the software industry in Corporate Sales.

Jeremy started a business development role in 2012, and within his first year in his new role, became one of the top business development reps within NTC, hitting 9mm in sales. Each year thereafter Pomerantz has increased his sales.

In 2017, he attained the highest ever sales figures for any rep at NTC with 23mm, and each year thereafter has beat the prior highest ever.

Outline the nominee's achievements since July 1 2019 that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):

In 2019, Pomerantz beat his sales goal and prior highest ever by 30%, with a new highest ever of over 32mm in sales. To date in 2020, Jeremy is on track to beat 47mm, or nearly a 50% increase year over year, setting a new individual highest ever. Pomerantz also shares in his success and splits revenue with any rep that assists him. His reported numbers are after removing his splits. Out of a team of 5 sales executives, Jeremy’s figures represent 60% of all of NTC’s revenue.

Over the past 2 years, Jeremy’s statistics (and NTC’s Sales) have boomed after he re-invented NTC’s fee structures and strategically worked with several clients and their legal, risk, and compliance groups to be able to recoup the money from 3rd parties. This allowed NTC to provide more service for less net cost to clients. To sell more services and deliver in higher volume, Jeremy originated and worked with our IT and Operations to help design new internal automation, business rules, and process efficiencies within NTC (specifically related to land records research) that have allowed for NTC to meet its service obligations faster, in higher volume and at less cost.

Jeremy is known as a subject matter expert in the industry and his success lies within his ability to communicate, consult and advise top executives at the nation’s largest mortgage servicers and investors to bring about a true trusted partnership with them. Through his hands-on approach, he has won new business and clients, additional volumes from existing clients, and restructured contracts to benefit all parties. He is a detailed and process-driven person who cares deeply about the services being delivered well to his clients and is familiar with every operational detail of NTC’s processes. Jeremy has helped to define the deliverables in processes and procedures throughout his tenure at NTC and is in close daily coordination with Operations executions. In addition to advising both clients and NTC on best practices for existing services, Pomerantz has assisted with the creation of several new services for NTC over the years, including title policy recovery and replacement processes, collateral reviews and remediation services, post-closing QC, web portal application functionality for clients.

While Jeremy is the top sales executive, he has gotten there by taking full ownership for the strategic success of NTC and its staff, mitigating risks for all sides, and ensuring the success of his clients.
