The mission of OMSAN Logistics is to be a solution partner in every field for its customers by offering integrated, digital, and environmental solutions. Innovating logistics services based on customer needs is what Omsan call "Customer Focused Approach".
Through its solution partner philosophy in intermodal and railway services, it breaks new ground in the industry. A good example of this would be OMSAN Lojistik, which is the first private train operator in Turkey with a railroad train operation authorization certificate, using Marmaray, it transported intercontinental cars without transferring and broke new ground. As part of its intermodal service, it has implemented a number of projects that have not only been operationally efficient, but also environmentally friendly to ensure a green future for future generations.
Through the use of the 'Digital Carbon Footprint Calculation' application, OMSAN Logistics calculated that by using the railway rather than the airway last year, 80% less carbon emissions were generated, and the equivalent of 2.3 million trees were recycled into the environment.
Towards increasing the weight of its logistics services, including what has recently been described as green transportation, it established an intermodal block train line between Turkey/Halkalı and Slovakia/Dunajska Streda in 2022.
Leaving from the Dunajska Streda Terminal in Slovakia, the first freight train departed for the Istanbul Halkalı Terminal. A weekly export block train and import block train are part of the project carried out in cooperation.

With the aim of being a reference to the initiatives that contribute to the emission reduction carried out by logistics companies with the EU Green Agreement; “Green and Integrated Service Project” is a project on intermodal service that provides less carbon, less particles, less NOX emissions and less diesel fuel consumption, and where environmentally friendly electric wagons are used.
“Green and Integrated Logistics Service Project” is an exemplary project with its advantages such as being an environmentally friendly operation that provides low accident and damage rates, being unaffected by adverse weather and road conditions, delivery time and cost.
Within the scope of the project, intermodal services are provided to countries such as the Czechia, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Germany and the Netherlands via Slovakia with the huge terminal of 280 thousand square meters in Dunajska Streda. Thanks to the connections, container transportation is not only between Turkey and Slovakia; It provides access to all points within the distribution network such as Germany, Austria, Czechia, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. With the project, the CO2 emission savings correspond to the oxygen given by approximately “500.000” trees.
