Nomination Title: Janelle Piersoll

Janelle Piersoll is the Vice President of Information Technologies for S-One Holdings Corporation. She has been with the company since 2011. Prior to working with S-One, she set up systems and processes for Fortune 500 companies, as a consultant with Accenture. S-One hired her to help integrate a new ERP system. Piersoll took over the role of handling the IT department. Since that time, she has taken pieces of all the different companies under the S-One umbrella and worked to make them function together as one. Plus, she has put in new processes and integrations with the assistance of her team. This effort has made it easier for our customer service representatives to work across various companies. For example, if a change is made in a LexJet system, it will automatically be changed in the BMG system, as well. Additionally, her system provides the flexibility to segregate a single company and only make changes in their system.

In October of 2019, S-One purchased the Belgium based company DIGIPRINT. Immediately, Piersoll started the monumental task of integrating their systems and converting it into S-One’s infrastructure. Additionally, all the systems were in French, adding another hurdle for Piersoll and her team. S-One COO Jason Metnick said, “she was able to bring their infrastructure into our IT ecosystem flawlessly. Not to mention she is doing this remotely because of COVID travel restrictions. She converted a warehouse fulfillment system, integrated an ERP system, integrated two websites that were in a different language, across two continents, at the same time into our IT infrastructure.”

The purchase of DIGIPRINT and the integration of those systems helped S-One to continue to grow during the COVID-19 pandemic while others in our industry were struggling to stay afloat. “During the COVID time the DIGIPRINT purchase and integration helped us to excel by adding to our top line and our bottom line,” said Metnick.

S-One Holdings Corporation holds an MVP Awards ceremony once a quarter to recognize a team member in each department of the company who has exceeded all expectations. These awards are a part of the S-One company and culture and meant to reward those who are helping push the company forward. The awards allow the Leadership Team to recognize these people in front of all their co-workers and have their accomplishments publicly acknowledged. Janelle was recognized by her department head Jason Metnick in the second quarter of 2020 for her work on the DIGIPRINT conversion. Additionally, she was recognized for her commitment to personal and professional development and selfless service.
