In July of 2019 Heidi left her position as CEO of a Guyana based BPO company to help care for her father who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She rejoined VXI Global Solutions as Vice President of Global Sales. After both her parents passed away in November, Heidi entered 2020 with a renewed sense of passion, focus and determination. Explain why the achievements you have highlighted are unique or significant. If possible compare the achievements to the performance of other players in your industry and/or to the nominee's past performance (up to 250 words):

Heidi’s achievements throughout her career and her performance and accomplishments in the unprecedented 2020 calendar year are significant as she has not only made a measurable contribution to the BPO industry at large but has created space for other emerging BPO sales leaders. Heidi is a role model for other women in her field and has demonstrated that, with perseverance and grit, a person can succeed no matter the odds. While Heidi has been consistently ranked in the top 1% of her industry in terms of sales performance and influence she has not been satisfied with awards and financial success alone. She has always used her platform and privilege to affect change, push boundaries and move the needle for other women following in her path. While Heidi was often the only woman in the room, she recognized the need to rise above, perform smarter and work harder. She positioned herself as an indisputable expert in her field. She built long term value for her clients, delivered consistent results for the companies she served and supported her family. She reached beyond her own success to help others less fortunate contributing her time, talent and financial resources to make the world a better place. Heidi not only advocates for women in her field but for overall financial and racial equity in the world at large. She is an ally, a team player, a servant leader, a mentor and a person that any company would be blessed to have on their team.
