Bursali designs and produces towel products by applying state-of-the-art technology and exports its towel brand Nuacotton mainly to US (90%) and EU countries.
Bursali has always adopted the vision of using science and technology to develop state-of-the-art processes also with an innovative design mind-set.With this vision, Bursali established its R&D Center that obtained the approval of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology in 2019. This Center now bears the characteristic ofbeing the first R&D Centrein the field oftowel production.
Bursali launched its high segment towel brandNuacottonat early 2019 with 3 lines; Gold, Silver and Bronze.
In 2019, Bursali designedNuacotton GreenLine, which is the first and only towel brand produced with completelynaturalprocesses andcompletely natural content, evendyed with natural fruits.
In 2020, with the pandemic situation and changing needs,a new product series is launchedasNuacotton TurquoiseLinedesigned with the new innovative technology of"magical microcapsules"developed by Bursali R&D. These series have antibacterial featureknitted with Nuacotton's magical microcapsules. Nuacotton Turquoise line has two products;Nuacotton Antiabacterial -antibacterial towel productsandNuacotton Hygienic -sterilized, antibacterial towels for personal and hospital use.

R&D; Science and Technology:
Within the scope of the R&D activities, Bursalı has succeeded in bringing a large number of important projects in the field of patents and utility models using only its capital resources.
Bursali signed a pioneering R&D technology in 2019 and produced"Magical Microcapsules"which give the towel fabric antibacterial properties. Magical Capsules enabled Bursali to designantibacterial productsthat do not lose their antibacterial properties up to 30 washes. During pandemic this innovation enabled Bursali to develop antibacterial products whenever towel can be used andhealth productsfor personal and hospital usage.

Besides having an innovative vision on new product development; Bursali focuses on 2 main points when designing new products:
Production with Natural Processes and Raw Materials:Nuacotton Green Natural series towels are produced with natural processes anddyed with completely natural fruitswithout using any synthetic chemical dyes.
Unusual Design of Towel as a Fashion Element:Bursalı designs products for different usage areas that will take towel fabric out of its usual areas of use. (Carpets, wearable designs) Bursalı also designs products with new functionalities combining different textile material and new technologies with towel fabric (waterproof elements, sand free technology, anti-slippery functions etc.)
