Categories
The American Business Awards® accept entries in many different types of categories.
Nominations that won in the 2024 ABAs may be resubmitted for consideration in the 2025 ABAs. If they have been updated with recent achievements they may be submitted to the same categories in which they won. If they have not been updated they must be submitted to categories different from those in which they won.
Best of the ABA Awards
You can't apply for these awards, you can only earn them by your performance in other categories in the ABAs. Winners will receive the Grand Stevie® Award trophy, plus the exclusive use of a Grand Stevie Award winner logo.
Achievement Categories
Nine categories to recognize singular business achievements in areas such as business turnaround, finance, revenue generation, and science and technology, among others.
App Categories
Categories that recognize excellence in apps developed in the USA.
Company / Organization Categories
Categories that recognize the achievements of entire for-profit and non-profit organizations, including Company of the Year (in more than 30 industry groups), Startup of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, and Fastest-Growing Company of the Year, among others.
Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, & Public Relations Categories
Includes more than 40 Communications or PR Campaign/Program of the Year categories, among others.
Customer Service Categories
Event Categories
Categories that recognize live, virtual, and hybrid events staged in the USA.
Management Categories
Nominate your organization's entire management team, some subset of the entire team, or individual executives.
Marketing Categories
Includes more than 40 Campaign of the Year categories.
New Product & Product Management Categories
Includes a wide variety of categories for Best New Product or Service of the Year, across multiple industries.
Podcast Categories
New categories for 2005. Categories to recognize the best podcasts in the USA since the beginning of 2023.
Publication Categories
Categories that recognize excellence in annual reports, marketing and literatures literature, white papers, and and other publications in the USA.
Social Media Categories
These categories recognize achievement in social media content creation and moderation, management, and marketing.
Support Categories
These categories recognize achievement in support disciplines such as administration, maintenance, research, and security. These categories are not for customer service nominations.
Sustainability Categories
Categories to recognize the efforts of individuals and organizations to achieve or promote resource and environmental sustainability.
Thought Leadership Categories
Categories to recognize organizations that have taken active measures to develop their executives and employees as thought leaders, and promote their thought leadership to audiences inside and outside the organization.

Categories that recognize outstanding video productions in the USA since the beginning of 2023.

Recognizing excellence in websites and blogs and web-related achievements in the USA.
