As Editor World continues to expand, the company maintains a diverse workforce. Currently, the company is 100% woman-owned and women make up 70% of all editors. The company strives to maintain a diverse team of editors in terms of gender, race and ethnicity, socioeconomic background, education, expertise, and geographic location.
Providing exceptional customer service and treating both editors and clients with kindness and fairness are key features of Editor World’s business model. The company focuses on providing a positive experience for customers and editors in every transaction. Disagreements between editors and clients occasionally occur, and we strive to find out the root of the issue and find a compromise between the editor and client.
Transactions have been accepted through the Editor World website since May 2010. The number of pages edited through Editor World exceeded 60,000 in 2020. Rather than submitting a document for review, waiting for a response from the editor with a price quote, and then moving forward, clients can submit documents for immediate editing and have them returned in as soon as 2 hours. The internal rating/review system is another main benefit, offering another layer of quality control and providing more information for customers. Editor World supports several charitable organizations, including Feeding America, Save the Children, Unbound, the Animal Welfare Foundation, Fisher House Foundation, and Trout Unlimited. Editor World had an outstanding 2020, generating a quarter million in sales.
