Nomination Title: Roth Staffing equips businesses with tools and expert insight for effective workplace response to COVID-19 pandemic

Roth Staffing works with many small to mid-sized businesses across the country who felt the dramatic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic overnight. They needed guidance, assistance and a source to lean on as many were not equipped with large-scale HR and IT teams. In an immediate response to the needs of our community, Roth Staffing’s Marketing team developed comprehensive communications for our customers and temporary employees to address their immediate concerns and needs during the pandemic. In April 2020, Marketing created a free eBook which focused on the important factors employers need to consider when re-opening their workplaces. This ebook was accompanied by a free webinar, led by our President and SVP/General Counsel, for another perspective on safe re-opening practices, and included a Q&A session.The Marketing team also created several ready-to-print, free office signage templates to address the issues of businesses that were closed or needing help enforcing social distancing and hygiene guidelines.

Roth Staffing was happy to offer customers free resources they could use in their office such as “We’re Here, but Our Office is Locked…..Please Respect the 6-Foot Rule” and others to ensure they could focus on the larger issues with their companies. Additionally, the Marketing team created content including blog posts and brief eBooks on the new concerns facing employers and workers on topics such as effective leadership in a remote work environment and tips for a successful remote interview process and campaign focused items to support small businesses. As a result of making these resources available, Roth Staffing strengthened the bond with many of our customers and temporary employees by assisting them through a difficult time.

The free Return to Workplace Resource Portal designedfor customers was created as a one-stop shop for all COVID related resources geared towards reopening. This site pulled together communication resources, workplace signage and a support guide for reopening. Our Reopening After COVID toolkit landing page and webinar registration landing page had nearly 5,000 unique pageviews and our Reopening After COVID eBook generated about 350 downloads. Additionally, social media content and campaigns were created to encourage the support of small business offering new and creative ways to give back to the local communities with nearly 2000 unique views.
