    EHS is innovative, agile and proactive entity in the field of healthcare industry, where it has deployed many innovations and achieving pioneering and competitiveness results at UAE and globally as follows:

    • Conducting Future Healthcare Services Development Lab; focuses on future of innovations in healthcare through advanced technologies such as AI applications in oncology and primary health care.
       
    • Health Digital Hackathon: launched during innovation week feb2020 to attract ideas to deal with challenges and opportunities of health sector
       
    • Applications developed during COVID-19:  launching of Vehicle Testing Service - first country Middle East, and launch of digital platform through the PaCE system to monitor and follow up on COVID-19 patients through hospitals and isolation centers, which honored by (IHF) in recognition of its excellence and efforts in innovative and proactive response to COVID-19 in a competition among the top (100) health institutions around the world from (28) countries.
       
    • Development and improvement of PaCE System, scooping (9) international awards and Ideas UK award.
       
    • Implement many innovative projects such as treating diabetic foot wounds using AI in noncommunicable disease clinics, and applying 4D-dental radiography technology.
       
    • Applying remote medical consultation service with doctors outside UAE, which enhanced quality of services during the pandemic, and won Innovation Award as best remote work procedure.
       
    • Launching VR treatment technology to understand schizophrenia, and know more deeply about what patients suffer, by relying on the (Gear by Oculus) technology.
       
    • Launching Innovation Strategy, and strategic innovation Partnerships yielding improvements in Government Enablers Indicators related to innovation.
       
    • Launching "Innovate for Health" Award to encourage health innovations.
       
    • Launching Al-Hosn APP in partnership with Health Authorities, to follow up Covid-19 cases, and a mechanism for implementing the special green passage protocol.
       
    • Partnership with pharmaceutical sector completing clinical study to provide vaccine to confront Covid-19, then production in UAE for the first time.
       
    • Developing “AFKARI” my ideas system which led to the generation and implementation of (+200) innovative initiatives and ideas between 2019-2021, % of innovations resulting from employee suggestions increased significantly from (15.05%) in 2019 to (22.9%) in 2021 and achieving (18) innovative services in 2020.
       
    • Examples of innovative capabilities 2019-2021 built on artificial intelligence:
      • An endoscopic device that uses artificial intelligence to check blood in stool for cancer
         
      • Oxygen generation unit using AI, implemented to meet the challenges of providing oxygen during COVID-19.
         
      • "Etmanan" program, is the preventative initiative against non-communicable diseases, based on best clinical practices and supported by artificial intelligence.
         
    • Implement telemedicine initiatives
       
    • Mobile clinic
       
    • Intelligent operating rooms and Smart Command Center PaCE.
       
    • Intelligent tracking of patients in the emergency department.
       
    • Expanded scope of robotic surgeries (Da Vinci) to perform (+300) Gynecology operations, introduced stem cell therapy, used Truscan devices to examine medical products at the border crossings.
       
    • Using robots in the smart pharmacy in order to utilize spaces and reduce errors, speed up the transactions, and enhance patients’ satisfaction.
       
    • Launching the e-training system “Maharati”
       
    • Launching the “Taqat” system, which works with AI to attract and discover internal and external talents.
       
    • Implementing artificial intelligence technology in the building management system (BMS), where the required quantities of medical gas can be provided to hospitals on time.
       
    • Implement EDW project concept was driven from the aim of enabling EHS to prepare real-time dashboards, prepare predictive analysis and studies using Data Science tools without human intervention.
       
    • Developing a platform to integrate the ambulance with virtual emergency rooms equipped with all future smart tools that facilitate the transfer and reception of cases and the provision of medical information on the case, in addition to tracking the ambulance via GPS.
       
    • Using sniffer dogs to detect the Corona virus: cooperation with ministry of Interior to train dogs to identify patients infected with the Corona virus.
       
    • Using cartoon characters in health awareness, specifically for school students.
