Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) made its first goal to facilitate the taxpayers’ journey and make it easier through developing ZATCA’s application which is another view for the ZATCA portal to serve this goal. ZATCA app gives the taxpayers the ability to easily view, apply, update and process their related services under a single application.
The app is the official application for ZATCA, which is available in Arabic and English interfaces and maintained under a simple interface to allow the taxpayer to have the best experience. The app is available on the App and Play stores. ZATCA app has been designed and developed with particular consideration for taxpayers’ sensitive data and details. Therefore, using it will allow to safely and secularly access to all services and financial information and perform a wide range of e-services online.
The app provides most ZATCA e-services that the taxpayer is mainly using at the ZATCA portal, such as correspondence, commitments, bills, installment plans, releasing contracts, viewing certificates, returns, objections, refunds, and accounts statements, and other services under one single application.
Some of the services available within the app, are:
Commitments:
Allows the taxpayer to know about the upcoming commitments and the overdue ones.
Pending bills:
This feature facilitates the ability for a taxpayer to view the bills and check their details. Also, they can pay the unpaid and partially paid invoices with the payment methods available and view all the transactions in detail. The total obligations will be viewed for the taxpayer to indicate his remaining payments.
Returns:
The taxpayer has the option to check the returns with their current status (submitted, overdue, and submitted) and view, update, and submit them.
Correspondence:
Allows all taxpayers to View all the correspondence details and download or share them if needed in simple steps.
Certificates:
Direct view of the related certifications of the taxpayer with an option to download or share them if needed in simple steps.
Installment plan:
Allows the taxpayer to request an installment plan with the needed details. In cases that the taxpayer has difficulty paying the total amount due, this service will enable you to request payment in installments.
Objections:
Raising an objection and checking its status.
Refund Requests:
This service allows the taxpayer to request a refund of VAT credits.
Account statement:
Taxpayers can get to know about account statement related to Zakat, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and VAT with their details such as their due date, tax period, and amount.
File Report:
Even if the app user is not a taxpayer and wants to file a report against an institution that has a violation in KSA, it can be done using the application.
The services are not limited to these only, they are extended to be more than that.

Moreover, contacting ZATCA agents and having a live conversation with ZATCA specialists provides the needed support and solutions to all taxpayers through the Chabot.
Furthermore, all violation reports can be raised via Chabot and reach complaints and suggestions using e-services and inquiries.
Awareness plays a big part in ZATCA’s role, and messages, a whole educational journey with engaging visualized content has been created, allowing any application user to know more about ZATCA and new regulations.
