The Touchless Time Clock enables contactless punch in or out through a QR code generated on the SmartLinx Go app. Rather than manually entering access codes or scanning fingerprints, employees simply hold up a QR code on their mobile device. The QR code automatically transmits employee identity and punch type to the integrated SmartLinx workforce management system. The clock enables employees to punch in and out of work 6X faster than traditional electronic time clocks, reducing long employee lines when shifts change and making it easier to social distance.

Building on the contactless authentication capabilities of the Touchless Time Clock, the Thermal-Sensing Touchless Time Clock enables temperature screening. A QR code generated on the SmartLinx Go mobile app automatically aligns the recorded temperature with the employee ID and punch type. Employees with normal temperatures can punch in, while employees with abnormal temperatures will send a restriction to other time clocks, blocking their admittance. SLATE combines the latest innovations in touchless technology with integrated time tracking and employee scheduling to help operators safeguard their facilities and enhance workforce operations. In addition to eliminating physical contact with a high-touch device, the new time clock automatically takes employee temperatures and blocks access to anyone with a fever.

SmartLinx is used in ~5,000 senior care facilities and owns more than 30% of the workforce management demand in long-term and post-acute care. There are currently 200 SLATE orders in the process of being fulfilled, which has met our expectations for initial interest.
