Acuity’s Annual Report is a key part of our marketing strategy. Independent agents are Acuity’s sales force, so our reports—sent to every agent—incorporate fun, engaging elements that ensure they are read cover-to-cover and retained as keepsakes.

For our 2020 Annual Report, our objective was to showcase Acuity’s strengths and our agents’ everyday heroics in comic-book form. “Celebrating the Acuity Hero in You!” is authentic in comic style down to the smallest detail—including a $20.20 price tag on the plastic overlay. Each comic book was shipped in a custom-designed box and also included a superhero lunchbox and thermos; full costume including cape, mask, pair of tights, and T-shirt; and chocolate.

Agents were encouraged to send pictures of themselves, family members, or pets wearing the superhero gear through a contest that is currently ongoing. Already, many photos have been received, and many agents have sent positive and appreciative feedback that indicates the 2020 Annual Report project is meeting its relationship, branding, and marketing objectives.
