Mr Burns owns and operates several different companies that operate on both a local and national level. Wayne Contracting is his most tenured opening in 2014 and having grown organically since inception. From 2021 to 2022 the company doubled in size to have its best year ever hitting $4M in total revenue after having a down year in 2020 due to the pandemic. In 2022 Mr. Burns was named to Forbes - Next 1000 list of up and coming Entreprenuers in the United Stated. Mr. Burns also is extremely active in his community serving as the VP of the Board of Directors for Haven House as well as being on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement. Wayne Contracting has grown its national footprint to service larger end user organizations that have large footprints across the United States. The company is focused on long term partner engagement and development. Wayne Contracting has grown rapidly as can be seen on their inclusion on the Inc. 5000 List in 2021, The Financials Times "Fastest Growing Companies" list in 2021 and the company and Mr. Burns being named as a Top St. Louisian to Know to Succeed in Business and a Future 50 organization.
